Summary: The Electrical Systems Test Engineer role involves preparing and executing test procedures for satellite systems, including debugging complex test sequences and providing technical support during test operations. The position requires SC clearance and is based onsite in Stevenage for a 12-month contract. The engineer will also be responsible for writing test reports and contributing to technical reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret electrical and functional test requirements from specifications.
• Provide test solutions from planning to execution, including coding and debugging test sequences.
• Support the test operations team during spacecraft tests and manage anomalies.
• Conduct Post Test Reviews and prepare Test Reports.
• Contribute technical inputs to project test reviews and non-conformance boards.
• Develop and debug Automatic Test procedures using bespoke software languages.

Key Skills:

• Hands-on experience writing test sequences/scripts for spacecraft tests.
• Knowledge of Elisa and JAVA is advantageous.
• Familiarity with TMTC Databases and spacecraft systems/subsystems.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages, particularly Linux/Unix bash scripts.
• Competence in using electrical measurement test equipment.
