Summary: The Electrical Maintenance Engineer role involves working at a manufacturing site within the FMCG/Pharmaceutical industry, focusing on both reactive and planned preventive maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform reactive and planned preventive maintenance across the manufacturing function.
  • Support the Maintenance department in maintaining machinery and equipment.
  • Work with PLC controls, conveyors, packaging lines, cappers, mixers, printers, check weighers, metal detectors, and bottling lines.
  • Involve in machine setting as production ramps up.

Key Skills:

  • Apprentice trained in electrical maintenance.
  • Experience in FMCG/Pharmaceutical industries.
  • Familiarity with PLC controls and various manufacturing machinery.
  • Ability to work on both reactive and planned maintenance tasks.

Job Title - Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Hours of work - 06.00-14.00 / 13.45-22.00

Hourly rate - £37 per hour OUTSIDE IR35

Location - Preston

Duration - 3 months (plus)

Industry - FMCG

We have an immediate requirement for x2 Electrically biased Maintenance Engineers to join a small manufacturing site within the FMCG/Pharmaceutical industry. You will be working on both reactive and PPM activities across the whole manufacturing function, supporting their Maintenance department. Engineers will be apprentice trained and have experience working with FMCG/Pharma companies, having exposure to PLC controls, conveyors, packaging lines, cappers, mixers, printers, check weighers, metal detectors, bottling lines etc. Whilst production gets up to speed, machine setting will also be a part of your role!
