Summary: The Electrical Maintenance Engineer role involves providing maintenance support on a busy food packaging manufacturing site in Clitheroe. The position requires both planned and reactive maintenance, along with project work to enhance site efficiency. This contract role is expected to last for at least three months and may lead to a permanent position. The ideal candidate should be experienced in electrical maintenance and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned maintenance and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Engage in project work to improve site efficiency.
  • Add all maintenance activities to the CMMS system.
  • Work with machinery and equipment including PLC controls, conveyors, sleeve machines, tray sealers, printers, metal detectors, packaging lines, weighers, and refrigeration systems.
  • Support site services during a busy operational period.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in electrical maintenance.
  • Knowledge of planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems.
  • Experience with food packaging machinery and equipment.

Some Details: Are currently recruiting for a contract Maintenance Electrician working on a busy manufacturing site in Clitheroe. You will have experience working on your own and park of a team, dealing with Maintenance activities that come with a busy food packaging site. The role is coving whilst the site goes through a busy period and also recruits for permanent Engineers. This role could also be a great opportunity for a permanent Engineer, immediately available that would consider going temporary first, before transferring over to a permanent engineering role.
