Summary: The role of Electrical Low Voltage Appointed Person (LVAP) involves supervising and managing sub-contractors on large capital delivery projects in the water/wastewater sector in London. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors
- Supervision of in-house project labour resources
- HSEQ control and monitoring
- Liaison with the client representatives
- Identifying and planning installation resource needs for projects
- Writing Method Statements
- Writing Risk Assessments
- Liaison with line management on project performance
- Implementation of company safety, health, environmental and quality policies
- Ensuring and maintaining an acceptable quality of outputs
- Reviewing and issuing relevant permits to undertake works
Key Skills:
- 18th Edition certification
- Experience in the water or wastewater industry
- SMSTS/SSSTS certification
- Experience writing method statements and risk assessments
- Current AP status
- Valid full UK driving licence
