Summary: The Program Manager will oversee the management of Data Center installation and upgrade projects, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. This role involves working remotely with quarterly travel to build sites across the EMEA region. The individual will be responsible for project scope, budget management, and ensuring best practices in Data Center design and installation. The position requires a strong background in low voltage systems and telecommunications infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Head of Engineering and regional Design Director.
  • Manage Data Center installation/upgrade projects, coordinating project scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Provide best practice recommendations on Data Center design.
  • Monitor contractor installations of low voltage systems.
  • Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and vendors to deliver IT/AV hardware.
  • Gather data and contracts for dual DIA circuit installations.
  • Review due diligence reports on low voltage infrastructure provisions.
  • Oversee design development from external consultants and review submission packages.
  • Coordinate with teams across disciplines to ensure project delivery.
  • Conduct value engineering sessions with contractors.
  • Manage the handover of sites from development to operations, including troubleshooting issues.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in managing large-scale Data Center construction projects.
  • Direct responsibility for producing coordinated Low Voltage and/or Telecommunications construction documents.
  • Broad knowledge of low voltage infrastructure and structured cabling.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting floor plans and technical drawings.
  • Understanding of IT Closets, MDF, and Electrical Equipment Rooms design and construction.
  • Experience in project completion and turnover for low voltage systems.
