Key Responsibilities:

Our Client an Engineering company are seeking an EC&I Designers for a permanent and contract position in Warrington location . This role is placed within Oil & Gas, Construction or highly regulated industry.

Role

As an EC&I – Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Designer you will be responsible for the production of the EC&I design within multi-discipline engineering, EPCM or EPC projects for the Gas Transmission Major Project Programme.

Responsibilities

As an Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Designer you will be responsible for the quality of the EC&I design and you will work on specific projects related to the Gas Transmission sector predominantly for the UK compressor station infrastructure. These projects will range from Concept Design (BP135G) to Execution Design (T/PM/G/35), and you shall support the Lead and Senior Engineers in delivering the EC&I design within budget and planning. You will participate in internal and external design reviews supporting the Lead and Senior Engineers and depending on size and complexity you may be the responsible EC&I designer for one project, or for a portfolio of projects. EC&I Designer should be able to identify changes to the design scope and report the changes to the Lead and/or Senior Engineer, providing support to the management of change process.

Qualification

EC&I Designers will have experience in EC&I design within single or multi-discipline engineering, EPCM or EPC projects. Oil & Gas industry or related experience is preferred. Willing to travel to client Sites as per the project needs.
