Summary: The role of Cyber Security Architect involves providing specialist oversight and guidance on information security to ensure effective risk management of classified information assets. The position requires collaboration with various functions and projects to assess information risks and develop security architecture. The successful candidate will also provide expert advice to the CISO and manage compliance with security requirements. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Berkshire for a duration of 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide analysis of risks to information systems to inform risk owners and project managers.
• Provide expert subject matter advice to CISO and IS management.
• Ensure IT projects receive timely technical security advice.
• Develop and apply the overall security architecture of the organization.
• Work with functions, projects, and the supply chain to assess information risk sources.
• Provide project lead for maintaining awareness of best practices in Information Assurance.
• Advise project solution architects on security requirements.
• Review solution designs for compliance with security architecture and requirements.
• Interface between client and the National Technical Authority (NCSC).
• Oversee IT Health Check and Vulnerability Assessments.
• Record and track assessments of information capability and projects.
• Provide technical risk assessment analysis.
• Develop professionalism of Information Risk Management within the business.
• Attend and manage project Security Working Groups as appropriate.
