Summary: We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer for a prominent client in the Banking sector, based in Zurich. The role involves leading end-to-end test automation and developing comprehensive test strategies. The position is hybrid, allowing for two days of remote work per week, with a contract duration of one year, potentially extendable. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trading environments and test management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end test automation and develop comprehensive test strategies and detailed test concepts.
• Implement test automation tools in collaboration with DevOps teams.
• Manage and coordinate testing with subsystems.
• Ensure the execution of end-to-end test automation.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor test execution.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet testing requirements.

Key Skills:

• Experience in trading environments (Cross Asset classes: Equity, Fixed Income, Crypto, etc.).
• Proven experience in test management, particularly in test automation and implementation of automated tests.
• Strong knowledge in documenting test cases and conducting test execution.
• Experience in creating test strategies and test concepts.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach at the interface between business analysis and test engineering.
• Experience with current technologies: JAVA Tech Stack and FIX Protocol.
• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
