Summary: The Digital Pathology Programme Manager will lead the integrated digital informatics and technology program within the Pathology Network, focusing on enhancing quality, efficiency, and effectiveness in healthcare delivery. This role involves managing complex pathology systems, overseeing application design and implementation, and driving operational and cultural change. The position is based in Preston and offers a hybrid working arrangement. The contract duration is 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide vision, technical leadership, and delivery of the integrated digital informatics and technology program.
  • Evaluate ongoing need for internal digital, technology, and infrastructure changes across the Pathology Network.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software.
