Summary: The Business Operations & Support Lead will play a pivotal role in a leading financial institution's Digital Engineering Services and Solutions department, focusing on business management and governance. This senior position requires strategic direction development, budget management, and fostering interdepartmental relationships. The role also involves leading a team, overseeing vendor management, and implementing processes for enhanced productivity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic direction and objectives for the department, aligning with global IT strategies.
- Manage departmental budgets, focusing on cost optimisation and resource allocation.
- Foster strong relationships across the organisation, including Human Resources, Procurement, and Finance.
- Lead a team of 4-5 direct reports, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee vendor management, risk assessment, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Implement processes to enhance productivity and efficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction and stakeholder management.
- Coordinate departmental reporting and communications, providing feedback and solutions to improve effectiveness.
- Manage continuous improvement programmes, ensuring reliable and efficient service delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to promote technical credibility and influence change.

- Extensive experience in business management and operations (5+ years).
