Summary: The Oracle Support Analyst role is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Bristol, focusing on providing technical support and guidance for Oracle systems, particularly in finance-related operations. The position requires collaboration with key users and third-party partners to enhance system efficiency and implement improvements. The analyst will also manage support requests, oversee change management processes, and ensure effective communication across business functions. Strong expertise in Oracle and experience with ERP systems are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for Enterprise Systems and associated business processes.
• Implement system modifications and improvements to enhance business processes.
• Collaborate with Managed Service Providers and develop effective solutions based on functional requirements.
• Manage the team’s workload to ensure timely completion of priorities.
• Develop and oversee a change management process for implementing fixes and updates.
• Log all support requests in the ITSM helpdesk tool and respond within agreed SLAs.
• Create and maintain system documentation to support IT and business needs.
• Identify new opportunities for improvements in core systems through collaboration.
• Oversee the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process for system changes and patches.

Key Skills:

• Prior experience as a Functional Systems Analyst.
• Proficient in Oracle and Oracle Financials.
• Skilled in supporting large-scale or tier-1 ERP systems.
• Experience in IT change initiatives and projects.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into solutions.
• Strong team player with effective task management skills.
• Familiarity with IT support tools, including Project Management and ITSM.
