Summary: The Software Developer – Integration & Automation role focuses on creating and maintaining scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency and collaboration within an organization. The position involves working with various technologies, including C#, SQL, and IBM App Connect Enterprise, to develop integrations and automate processes. The developer will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions while adhering to best practices in software development. This is a fixed-term contract position based in Cambridgeshire, requiring on-site presence two days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable solutions using C#, SQL, SSIS, and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
  • Work with IBM Business Process Management (BPM) and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate) to drive efficiency
  • Design, develop, and integrate APIs and Web Services to enhance system connectivity
  • Solve complex technical challenges in collaboration with the Development Team and key stakeholders
  • Ensure best practices in software development, including security, documentation, and agile methodologies
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand requirements and deliver practical, high-impact solutions

Key Skills:

  • Expertise in C#, SQL, and database technologies
  • Experience working in a software development or integration environment
  • Familiarity with web & cloud technologies
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps & Automate) for workflow automation
  • A problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovative solutions
