Summary: We are looking for a DevOps/Platform Engineer to join a well-established Platform Engineering team that enables application teams to practice DevOps through best-in-class platforms, tooling, and standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with product-focused teams to gather requirements, evaluate tools, implement solutions, provision environments, and assist with operational issues. They will also contribute to the community, ensuring that DevOps practices evolve with technological advancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work across product-focused teams to gather requirements and evaluate tools.
- Implement and update solutions, provision environments, and assist with operational issues.
- Contribute to the community to ensure DevOps practices evolve with technology advances.
- Develop common services and manuals to support delivery teams in taking ownership of their services.
- Utilize Infrastructure-as-code and Bash for automation.
- Apply delivery methods and techniques, including agile scrum experience.

- VCS (ideally Github)
- Building and maintaining containers
- Good communication skills in both written and verbal formats

They will also contribute to the community ensuring that DevOps practices evolve in line with technology advances.

- VCS (ideally Github)
- Building and maintaining containers
- Good communication skills both in written and verbal format with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
