Design Engineer Fire Suppression

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the marine design team with mechanical design aspects of fire suppression projects.
• Draft detailed CAD drawings and data sheets for fire protection systems.
• Develop mechanical and electrical layouts, schematics, P&ID's, Equipment Datasheets, and Hydraulic Calculations.
• Interpret and apply Approval Authority rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with the Senior Design Engineer and Project Manager for design and CAD support.

Key Skills:

• Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Hydraulic Calculation package (FireCAD).
• Ability to interpret clients' technical specifications.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Willingness to obtain SC UK MOD Security clearance.
• Preferred HNC/HND in Engineering.
• Experience in the Marine Industry and MoD contracts.
• Background in the Fire Protection or Fire Detection industry.
