Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair dental and associated equipment, including planned preventative maintenance on approximately 150 dental units annually.
  • Liaise with the University of Leeds Estates Department for building fabric maintenance and upgrades.
  • Provide instruction to dental staff and students on safe equipment operation.
  • Organize work schedules to prioritize and complete tasks within deadlines.
  • Maintain records of equipment maintenance and update the Medical Physics Inventory database.
  • Identify and specify spare parts for repairs and create purchase requisitions as needed.
  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Follow health and safety policies and protocols relevant to the Dental Workshop.
