Summary: The Delivery Lead - Core Financial Services role involves overseeing project management within a consultancy environment, focusing on planning, execution, and resource allocation. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals align with business objectives. The successful candidate will manage client relationships and drive continuous improvement in delivery processes. This is a contract position based in Manchester, requiring on-site presence three times a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the end-to-end management of the project, including planning, finance forecasting, risk management, and progress reporting.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, design, and business stakeholders.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Manage client expectations and foster strong client relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and team performance.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers or team leads.
Key Skills:
- Significant experience in project management, particularly in planning, finance forecasting, and risk management.

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a Delivery Lead in Core Financial Services to join their team for a six-month contract.
Job Responsibilities/Skills & experience
You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and executing specific company goals or policies involving monitoring associated budgets, allocating project resources and motivating and managing the programmes team members.
Other duties include issuing progress reports and ensuring deadlines are met in a timely and efficient fashion.
