Key Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end database support for cloud services, including monitoring and incident response.
- Monitor databases to ensure availability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Follow incident, change, release, and problem management processes.
- Participate in root cause analysis of incidents and drive improvements in stability.
- Manage database backup and recovery, access rights, and version control.
- Implement database maintenance plans and ensure optimal production configurations.
- Set up monitoring and alerting tools for database observability.
- Advise on best practices for production operation of Database PaaS environments.
- Participate in on-call rota for incident management.
