Summary: The Data Technical Specialist role within the Natural Capital and Ecosystems Assessment (NCEA) programme focuses on developing automated processes for analyzing monitoring data related to the Estuarine and Coastal water environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Build analytical data tools to process monitoring, ecological, and habitat data for national assessments.
- Develop data management solutions to support new coastal monitoring networks.
- Create guidance and support for tool handover to other users.
- Provide data skills training and support to colleagues.
Key Skills:
- Experience in data management and analysis.
- Ability to work as part of a dispersed team.
- Attention to detail and quality in work delivery.
- Experience with ETL applications such as SAFE FME.
