Summary: The Data Risk & Control Monitoring Manager role involves designing, implementing, and managing data control frameworks to mitigate data risks related to quality, usage, access, retention, and movement. This position is based in Sheffield and requires a hybrid working arrangement, with 2 to 3 days on-site each week. The role is offered on an initial 6-month contract basis with a competitive salary. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage robust data control frameworks.
- Drive the monitoring strategy across data management controls in compliance with data governance policies.
- Engage with Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit to align data management controls with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and track key data quality metrics and key control indicators.

- Experience in data risk management and control frameworks.
- Strong understanding of data governance policies and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to engage with various stakeholders including Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit.
- Proficiency in monitoring data quality metrics and control indicators.
Salary (Rate): £400 daily

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust data control frameworks to effectively mitigate data risk related to quality, usage, access, retention, and movement for the organization.
? Drive the monitoring strategy across data management controls in compliance with data governance policies and standards in partnership with Data Risk Stewards to ensure data risk is effectively managed.
? Engage with Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit to ensure data management controls align with regulatory requirements and internal policies and standards.
? Monitor and track key data quality metrics and key control indicators.
