Summary: The Data Protection Engineer role in Sheffield involves addressing backup issues for large databases within a client's physical server estate. Key Responsibilities:

• Address backup issues for large databases within the client's physical server estate.
• Integrate storage technology and backup technology utilizing snapshot functionalities.
• Document processes and tasks using Jira and Confluence.
• Utilize Commvault software for Oracle database administration, installation, deployment, configuration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
• Develop automation tooling using Commvault APIs.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver against the agreed High-Level Design (HLD) and Software Design Document (SDD).

Key Skills:

• Extensive experience with Commvault software.
• Detailed IntelliSnap experience.
• Experience in a financial institution or highly regulated environment.
• Hands-on experience with Commvault's Hyperscale-X platform.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, storage solutions, and virtualization technologies.
