Key Responsibilities:
- Build and optimise data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Design and manage modern data architectures, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Automate data processing workflows, reducing manual effort.
- Work on data integration, ETL, warehousing, and API development.
- Deploy and maintain big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
- Develop data models and visualisation solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and data governance policies.
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand data needs and drive digital transformation.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Digital Engineering.
- Strong background in SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Java, or Scala for data processing.
- Expertise in cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and compliance standards.
- Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.
- Experience working with SAP (desirable) and Azure (bonus).
