Key Responsibilities:
- Migrate and re-architect existing SAS data pipelines into GCP using tools like dbt, Airflow, BigQuery, and Dataflow
- Collaborate with SAS experts to extract, validate and transform business-critical data
- Build and optimise scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native data pipelines
- Work with version control, scheduling, and orchestration tools (e.g. Git, Airflow, Terraform)
- Support quality assurance and validation throughout the migration lifecycle
Key Skills:
- Deep experience in data engineering and cloud migration, ideally with exposure to both SAS and GCP
- Fluency in SQL and Python
- Experience with tools like dbt, Airflow, BigQuery, and Databricks
- Understanding of legacy data systems and mapping them into cloud-native architecture
