Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Data Protection Team and ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Prepare the Authority for the implementation of new General Data Protection Regulations.
- Provide support and supervision to departmental staff on Information projects.
- Develop and review Data Protection corporate policies, procedures, and strategies.
Key Skills:
- Certified Data Protection (GDPR) Practitioner.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Data Protection legislation.
- Experience managing a sizeable Data Protection / Information Governance team.
- Public Sector experience is highly advantageous.
