Key Responsibilities:

  • Define Data Product Definition, Architecture, and Roadmap.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to define Target Model backlog.
  • Lead the delivery of complete Architectural Design.
  • Ensure designs align with relevant strategies, roadmaps, and policies.
  • Support gathering of information requirements from IT and Business stakeholders.
  • Simplify and de-risk the information landscape.
  • Model information requirements for stakeholder understanding.
  • Define the information roadmap for the project and wider programme.
  • Ensure data design consistency throughout phases and into build.
  • Define data interfaces between systems at the logical level.
  • Aid in the physical design of data stores, interface files, or services.
  • Ensure compliance with clients' Information policies and standards.
  • Lead Architecture Committee governance approvals for artefacts.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with GCP Data Products, Data Mesh, ETL, and BigQuery.
  • Proficiency in Python, Scala, Java, .NET, and ANSI SQL.
  • Familiarity with tools like DBT, Spark, Hive, Kafka, and Pub/Sub.
  • Knowledge of Cloud DataProc, Cloud Data Flow, and Cloud Data Fusion.
  • Experience with HDFS, Unix File System, RDBMS, and Azure DevOps.
  • Ability to define and model information requirements.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise-wide information architecture.
  • Experience in leading architectural governance and approvals.

  • Will define, at the logical level, the data interfaces between systems.
  • Will aid in the physical design of any data stores, interface files or services.
  • Ensures that the solution is compliant to the clients Information policies and standards.
  • Lead Architecture Committee governance approvals for artefacts.
