Summary: In this role, the Customer Enquiries Officer will provide exceptional customer service by addressing requests under the Freedom of Information Act and Environmental Information Regulations, while also responding to a variety of inquiries from external customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act and Environmental Information Regulations.
- Provide customer service to a diverse range of external customers from public, commercial, and political sectors.
- Participate in incident response duties and provide business continuity support during incidents.
- Manage and prioritize reactive workloads effectively.
- Engage in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge of environmental matters and customer service skills.
- Collaborate with team members to handle public and political engagement, complaints, and executive correspondence.
Key Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in writing, over the phone, and in person.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
