Summary: The role of Manufacturing Engineer involves working within the Aerospace sector, focusing on New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Improvement (PI). The candidate will be responsible for utilizing APQP and PPAP tools, maintaining quality performance, and preparing technical documentation. This contract position is classified as inside IR35 and is based in Nottinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In load of NPI & PI product using APQP & PPAP tools.
  • Maintain external yield/RFT charts to inform and drive product delivery and quality performance.
  • Disposition non-conformance on in loaded product in line with delivery requirements.
  • Prepare technical reports to an acceptable standard and give informative presentations.
  • Prepare technical documentation to instruct the use of new equipment, methods, or systems.

Key Skills:

  • Professional qualified engineer or manufacturing engineering/product introduction experience.
  • Ability to solve complex problems.
  • Experience using engineering software.
  • Capable of running and supporting products with minimal assistance.
  • Consistently delivers high-quality work.
