OAT Application Analyst - Scada

Summary: The OAT Application Analyst - Scada role involves defining and executing Application Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) plans within a hybrid work environment in Warwick. The analyst will collaborate with application vendors and support teams to create test scenarios, manage test execution schedules, and report on progress. The position requires SC clearance and is primarily focused on ensuring the successful implementation of application testing processes. The role is structured around a daily rate of £500, with a preference for umbrella company arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the Test Plan, including the scope and approach to Application Operational Acceptance Testing.
• Work with application vendors and support teams to define App OAT test scenarios and test cases.
• Provide input to the MSP project plan regarding App OAT tasks, durations, and dependencies.
• Define a schedule of test execution, considering dependencies and constraints.
• Ensure App OAT test cases are executed according to the Test Plan.
• Record results in Jira.
• Produce regular progress reports during preparation and execution.
• Participate in defect triage calls to address App OAT defects.

Key Skills:

• Planning Application OAT within a data centre environment, including Audit & Logging, Resilience, Backup & Recovery, Alerting & Monitoring.
• Creating a Test Plan.
• Defining Application OAT test scenarios and test cases.
• Experience with Jira.
• Proactive, organized, and comfortable engaging with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent communication skills.
