Summary: The Ministry of Justice is seeking a Contract Manager for a 3-month contract, working on a hybrid basis from London, Leeds, or Manchester. The role involves managing contracts related to the rehabilitation of prisoners and requires collaboration with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will develop category strategies, manage supplier markets, and ensure compliance with governance and risk management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with diverse stakeholders in cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
  • Develop and support category strategies using data-driven methods to drive Value for Money outcomes.
  • Manage strategic supplier market development to maintain a healthy and agile supply market.
  • Develop contractual documentation, work with legal advisers, and build business cases with Senior Business Owners.
  • Exhibit superior planning, time management, and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and team deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, legislative, and policy requirements, and adopt a robust approach to risk management.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in managing contracts and categories, including commercial finance and strategy development.
  • CIPS/MCIPS qualified or working towards the qualification.
  • Experience and understanding of contracts within the public sector.
  • Experience of using JAGGAER (desirable).
