Summary: The Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking two Consultant Nephrologists with subspecialty interests in Haemodialysis and Renal Transplant Medicine. Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to outpatient management of dialysis units and renal transplant services.
• Undertake outpatient nephrology clinics and inpatient nephrology & acute transplantation services.
• Participate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Support clinical research initiatives within the renal and transplant unit.
• Engage in teaching and supervision of junior staff and trainees.

Key Skills:

• Full GMC registration.
• MRCP (Nephrology) or equivalent.
• Experience in all aspects of Renal Medicine.
• High level of clinical experience and competence in nephrology.
• Familiarity with UK hospital systems and practices.
• Competence in kidney biopsies and tunnelled line insertion.
• Desirable additional subspecialty training in haemodialysis.
