Composite Design Engineer

Summary: The Composite Design Engineer role at Expleo involves supporting a local OEM customer on a development project in the aerospace sector, focusing on composite structural design using Catia V5 and Fibersim. Key Responsibilities:

• Development of Catia V5 composite structural design in support of technical reviews and customer agreed decisions/proposals.
• Development of the digital mockup.
• Support to DMMs & ongoing IPDT meetings held via Teams calls.
• Storage of files in Windchill database.
• Implement technical solutions to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and airworthiness requirements.
• Perform activities with minimal supervision and guide other engineers within the work-package as required.

Key Skills:

• Experience working with stakeholders, lead engineers, chief engineers, and project managers.
• Proficiency in CAD Catia V5 R29 and Fibersim.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Good communication abilities.
• Knowledge of aerospace structural composite design standards and processes.
• Previous Windchill experience is beneficial.
