Summary: The Compliance Executive role is a 9-month contract based in Portsmouth, focusing on ensuring regulatory compliance within the business. The position involves advising on regulatory matters, supporting the implementation of a new CRM system, and conducting risk assessments. The successful candidate will work closely with a small team and senior compliance specialists on various compliance-related projects. This role is critical to the delivery of key projects within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that the business complies with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Advising the business on regulatory matters in support of the implementation of a new CRM system.
• Supporting key projects that launch new products.
• Conducting risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks and vulnerabilities.
• Supporting the compliance monitoring programme.

Key Skills:

• Prior experience of a regulated compliance role with a solid understanding of FCA regulation including Consumer Duty.
• Proven experience of interacting directly and effectively with key business and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience of marketing compliance within a regulated financial industry.
• Understanding of risk management principles and processes.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organisational, research and technical information gathering skills.
• Demonstrate capability to analyse and document complex business processes.
• Sound judgement.
• Self-starter.
