Rate: £34k annually with 20% bonus
Shift Pattern: 5 days working (We are currently seeking a reliable and adaptable individual who is available to work flexibly between Monday and Sunday , from 09:00 AM to 05:30 PM .)
Job Purpose: Digital Imaging Direct Community Manager will be the local product specialist and the face of Sony Alpha and will represent Sony consumer and professional products in the UK. Digital Imaging Direct Community Manager will visit photo retailer stores in their area and support the stores with sales and marketing activities and take responsibility for how Sony is represented in each store. He/she will build relationship with relevant stakeholders within the photo and video community their geographical area, and he/she will work closely with our marketing and sales teams supporting at events, reaching out to new customers etc.
As a Digital Imaging Direct Community Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Promoting Sony digital imaging products to both retailers and end consumers (photographers, videographers).
- Ensuring the achievement of sales targets in your designated stores.
- Training the store staff to ensure their knowledge about Sony products is up to date.
- Following up on campaigns and activities arranged by the UK Marketing and Sales team.
- Conducting local sales activities, selling to end consumers (photographers, videographers etc).
- Planning and coordinating photo- and video-focused events creating touch-and-try opportunities with Sony products and potential customers (Photo- & videographers)
- Running exhibition stands and events
- Follow up and 1:1 meeting with photo-and videographers offering support and training in Sony camera equipment.
- Investigate and build relationships with local photo and video communities in collaboration with the UK marketing team
Qualifications
- Higher education and/or sales experience with documented results
- Great knowledge and passion for digital imaging products – and skills within photo/videography
- The ability to stand in front of a large crowd and present
- Great English skills - written and verbal.
- Good computer skills - Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Good abilities in relationship-building with new people.
- Team player and good collaboration skills.
- Flexible regarding travel/overnight stays.
- Driving license class B.

A flexible approach to working hours (evenings and weekends) is required due to traveling, late nights and weekend events and fairs.
