Key Responsibilities:

• Support the team lead in managing and facilitating staff development within the research team.
• Develop expertise in research skills, including the setup and delivery of research trials.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams, sponsors, clinicians, and participants throughout the research process.
• Liaise with Principal Investigators and Sponsor companies to ensure efficient use of research resources.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality and data protection guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of all research activities and documentation.
• Contribute to clinical and research governance processes, including incident reporting.
• Organize participant visits and maintain study documentation according to Good Clinical Practice.

Key Skills:

• Knowledge and relevant experience equivalent to NVQ level 3 ECDL or equivalent.
• IT literate, with proficiency in MS Office and internet skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize workload with minimal supervision.
• Data entry experience with attention to detail.
• Understanding of data protection and Caldicott guidelines.
