Summary: The Civil Inspector role focuses on ensuring compliance with HSES standards within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Infrastructure sectors. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all Project HSES standards & documentation.
- Monitor performance of Quality Control matters.
- Responsible for timely inspection during civils activities.
- Proactively prevent non-compliance and resolve problems.
- Review material test certificates and compliance with Inspection and Test Plans.
- Ensure project preservation requirements and traceability of materials are maintained.
- Witness manufacturing activities and ensure compliance with project standards.
- Complete and review manufacture record books and feedback into supplier performance evaluation.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years in Civils Inspection / QA/QC.
- Minimum of 10 years in the Civil Engineering Industry.
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or similar.
- Previous experience in QC inspection.
- Solid background in oil and gas, petrochemical, or major infrastructure projects.
- Good coordination and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written skills with the ability to present data clearly.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, resourceful, and proactive.

General coordination duties description
Civils inspector shall in general be responsible for monitoring performance of Quality Control matters.
Main tasks include:
- Monitor/ review material test certificates in line with project specifications.
- Monitor/ review compliance with project Inspection and Test Plans in line with project specifications.
- Ensure project preservation requirements are followed.
- Ensure traceability of materials are maintained.
- Witness manufacturing activities as per agreed ITP ensuring compliance to project standards including occasional off-site visits.
- Ensure manufacture record book is completed, reviewed, endorsed, and appropriately saved in agreed storage location.
- Feedback into supplier performance evaluation.
