- Estimate hours required for specific design tasks.
- Present design proposals at ALMs, KMs, and other project review meetings.

Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to support key projects within the water industry. This role is available on either a Contract or Staff basis, and is ideal for professionals with a strong background in water-related civil engineering design and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver design outputs that meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Interpret project scopes and findings from site visits to propose efficient design solutions.
- Supervise and mentor CAD technicians, junior designers, and graduate engineers.
- Produce detailed design risk assessments, specifications, and reports.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 10 years’ design experience in the water sector.
- Academic background in Civil Engineering: Degree, HND, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficiency in IT tools relevant to engineering and design.
- Membership of a relevant professional institution and working towards chartership.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng MICE or equivalent).
- Strong experience in both clean and wastewater (dirty water) projects.
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and engineering drawings.
- Demonstrated knowledge of water industry standards and practices.
