Summary: The Centre for Disaster Protection is seeking an Organisational Transformation Lead to guide the transition of the Centre to a distinct organisation hosted by a not-for-profit entity over a fixed-term, full-time 12-month contract. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to design and implement a program that enhances the Centre's operational model and ensures effective disaster risk financing. The Consultant will be responsible for stakeholder engagement, programme management, and the development of governance and operational frameworks. This position is critical for achieving the Centre's strategic goals and improving its impact in disaster risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of a program for the Centre's transition to a new operating model.
- Develop a stakeholder engagement plan to explore hosting models and engage with candidate host entities.
- Assess operational support resource requirements and produce relevant documentation for the Board.
- Coordinate financial planning and lead business case development for the future state.
- Develop governance, compliance, HR, finance, risk, and stakeholder management policies and procedures.
- Ensure smooth transition between current and new operational structures with minimal impact on technical delivery.
Key Skills:
- Experience in leading programmes for new entity creation, spin-outs, or organisational transitions.
