Summary: The role of CBRN Training Officer at the National CBRN Centre in Coventry involves delivering training programs focused on chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats to various emergency services and partner agencies. This position is open to serving police officers and is offered as a two-year secondment opportunity. The officer will work collaboratively to enhance multi-agency responses to CBRN terrorism while ensuring high-quality training delivery. The role also includes maintaining subject knowledge and building relationships with external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop multi-agency capability to respond to CBRN terrorism.
• Develop, design, deliver, evaluate, and quality assure training materials.
• Ensure quality in training and development programs supporting the CBRN strategy.
• Make decisions within the classroom environment.
• Maintain and develop a high level of subject knowledge.
• Build and develop relationships with external agencies and suppliers.
• Participate in the on-call (24/7) Operations Centre Cadre.
