The Buyer will manage supplier relationships, monitor contract compliance, negotiate pricing, and oversee the Call For Tender process. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with the Multi-Functional Team to manage day-to-day supplier relationships and optimize customer value
  • Monitoring and applying contract terms and conditions to ensure quality, support, logistics, and delivery performance meet requirements
  • Securing and improving the Annual Operating Plan through contract pricing negotiations, continuous development, and cost reduction programmes
  • Managing the Call For Tender process, including initiating, managing inputs, and presenting recommendations

Key Skills:

  • Procurement experience or strong business experience with knowledge of the procurement process
  • Commercial, contract, and finance knowledge

Our client, a renowned global manufacturer, is seeking talented Buyers to join their dynamic team in Filton, UK. These Buyer positions are contract roles running until October 2026 with the possibility of extension. As a Buyer, you will be the focal point for various contracts covering the company's commercial programmes.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with the Multi-Functional Team to manage the day-to-day relationships with suppliers and optimise customer value
  • Monitoring and applying the contract terms and conditions to ensure quality, support, logistics, and delivery performance meet requirements
  • Securing and improving the Annual Operating Plan through contract pricing negotiations, continuous development, and cost reduction programmes

The ideal candidate will have:
