Summary: PGI is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead corporate market efforts and drive sales strategy within the consultancy focused on digital resilience. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance service offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, particularly in information security or payments compliance services, and a proven track record in the corporate sector. This position is crucial for expanding PGI's market presence and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and projects within the corporate sector.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting trust relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and industry influencers.
  • Lead the sales process from prospecting through to closing, ensuring that sales targets and objectives are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Work with a small and growing new business team to ensure they generate tangible and relevant leads.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing and subject matter experts on product development and targeted campaigns.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform business strategies and decisions.
  • Easily liaise with clients at varying levels to establish their problems and challenges, reassuring and guiding them as they embark on the client journey.
  • Identify routes to success, working with technical experts, solutions architects, and project teams to maximize PGI’s offer and value to the client.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of business development experience within the corporate market, ideally with expertise in providing information security or payments compliance services.
  • Track record and credibility in managing teams and developing sales skills and competencies in others.
  • Proven success in building and growing sales in the corporate sector, with a strong network of contacts.
  • Deep understanding of corporate sales processes, market trends, and key players.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a scaling sales team.

What You’ll Be Doing
