Summary: The role of Business Data Analyst involves leading a team of senior business analysts to enhance operational analytics within the pharmaceutical sector. The position requires designing new operating models and empowering the team to collaborate with senior customers for improved decision-making. Success is measured by the team's ability to reduce risks, costs, and accelerate processes through effective analytics solutions. The role is a hybrid position with a focus on ERP analytics in pharma operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Business Area Leads (senior business analysts) and provide oversight.
- Help prioritize tasks and create best practices and guidelines for quality work delivery.
- Design new operating models for Operations analytics across various domains.
- Empower the team to work with senior customers for timely decision-making.
- Monitor and measure the impact of the team's work on operational decision-making, risk reduction, and cost efficiency.
Key Skills:
- Strong business analysis experience and knowledge of ERP analytics in pharma operations.
- Experience in designing, building, and testing analytics solutions in SAP.
- Team leadership and task management experience.
- Experience with large data sets in BI tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, Qlik, and PowerBI.
- Preferable experience with S/4Hana Analytics or other ERP systems.
- Good experience in analytics and operations within the pharmaceutical industry.
Salary (Rate): £650 daily

Your new role
Lead a team of Business Area Leads (senior business analysts), providing them with oversight, helping them to prioritise, and creating the best practices and guidelines that will make sure they deliver great quality work at pace. You will be responsible for designing new operating models for Operations analytics (network and supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, quality etc). Your leadership will empower your team to work with some senior customers, so that they can make decisions at pace. You will know you are winning when you see Operations making better decisions, reducing risk, reducing costs and accelerating their processes, because of your team’s work.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong business analysis experience and knowledge of ERP analytics in pharma operations. Experience of designing, build and testing of the analytics solution in SAP
- Team leadership management (task management) / experience
- Experience of working with large and sophisticated data sets in commonly used BI tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, Qlik & PowerBI.
- S/4Hana Analytics preferable – different ERP systems a good alternative
- Need to have good experience of analytics and ops in Pharma
What you'll get in return
You will receive a daily rate of £600-£650 per day, outside IR35 on a 6 month contract hybrid position.
