Summary: The Business Continuity Planning Analyst role at AMS involves supporting Tesco IMS in developing and executing business continuity plans within a hybrid working model. The position requires conducting Business Impact Assessments and coordinating testing of continuity plans to ensure operational resilience. The contract is for six months and is based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Candidates will engage with mid-to-senior level stakeholders and contribute to embedding continuity processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) and translate findings into actionable BCPs.
  • Develop and execute business readiness and education plans.
  • Embed continuity processes throughout the business and across responsible groups (RGs).
  • Coordinate and lead testing of continuity plans.
  • Conduct remedial actions and run full continuity processes end-to-end.
  • Maintain and update scenario libraries and continuity documentation (including Day 2 timelines).
  • Conduct gap analyses to account for changes in business operations and timelines.
  • Engage with mid-to-senior level internal stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in Business Continuity Planning and Business Impact Analysis.
  • Proven ability to operate within an end-to-end operational resilience framework.
  • Experience creating and delivering testing plans, remediation, and education initiatives.
  • Background in Insurance, Banking, or a Finance-related function.
  • Familiarity with ISO 22301.
