Business Consultant

Summary: The Lead Business Consultant role involves guiding business consulting engagements within Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Commercial IT in the UK, specifically in London and Manchester, with travel flexibility to Cambridge or Macclesfield. The consultant will translate business goals into actionable strategies, leveraging deep domain knowledge in the Medical/Pharma space while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position requires a strong focus on platform configuration, process redesign, and solution architecture, ensuring business alignment and value delivery. The role is hybrid, requiring three days a week in the office, and is offered as a six-month extendable contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business consulting engagements within Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Commercial IT.
• Translate business goals into actionable strategies.
• Serve as a strategic advisor on content management, medical compliance, digital transformation, and customer engagement platforms.
• Guide platform configuration, process redesign, and solution architecture.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure business alignment and value delivery.
• Provide business leadership across key platforms including Veeva Vault, Salesforce Health Cloud, and Adobe Experience Manager.
• Support niche platform utilization such as Docuvera and iEnvision.
• Contribute to strategic planning, change management, and training related to technology and process implementation.
• Maintain a stable consulting team and facilitate ongoing upskilling and documentation.

Key Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in business consulting or solution advisory roles.
• Significant exposure to the medical, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of regulatory processes and compliance frameworks (GxP, HIPAA, ABPI).
• Experience with Veeva Vault Medical Suite, Salesforce, and Adobe Experience tools.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud strategy and data handling.
• Strong facilitation skills and experience conducting stakeholder workshops.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across global teams.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
