Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyse business requirements related to financial processes across Retail, Food & Beverage, and Events, ensuring alignment with overall programme objectives.
• Quickly understand complex financial processes, including reconciliation, reporting, and audit requirements, mapping them out and identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with implementation partners, developers, SMEs, and finance teams to ensure clarity and feasibility of requirements.
• Act as a key liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring that financial business needs are effectively translated into functional requirements.
• Take full ownership of finance-related business analysis deliverables, driving requirements gathering sessions, documentation, and validation processes.
• Work within an agile delivery framework, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and user story development.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of finance-related business analysis outputs, maintaining alignment with key milestones.
• Support testing and validation efforts by defining acceptance criteria and participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Provide clear and structured communication to stakeholders, proactively identifying risks and potential roadblocks.
• Ensure compliance with UK financial regulations, audit requirements, and best practices in financial data reporting.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a Finance Business Analyst within large-scale hospitality projects, specifically in Retail, Food & Beverage, and Events.
• Strong ability to elicit and document finance-related business requirements, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in financial reconciliation, reporting, and audit processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• A strong sense of ownership, ensuring accountability for deliverables and project milestones.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, including experience working within Scrum teams.
