Summary: The role of Business Analyst (Faster Payments) involves supporting the implementation of Faster Payments projects for a leading IT services supplier. The position is based in Leeds, UK, and allows for hybrid working, requiring attendance at the office two days a week. The contract is temporary, lasting over six months, and aims to deliver high-quality analysis aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Faster Payments implementation and strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of planning and delivering the analysis with minimal support, ensuring high-quality output in line with business objectives and timelines
- Define and document the as-is and to-be business processes
- Provide comprehensive analysis and requirements within the scope
- Conduct the Business Impact Assessment (where required)
- Accountable for the production and delivery of key business analysis documents, including but not limited to:
- Process Maps
- High and Detailed Level Requirements Documentation
- Business Impact Assessment
- Business Design document
- BA Plan and Approach Document, ensuring regular updates are provided
- Track and highlight any risks and issues at project meetings
Key Skills:
- Expert SBA who has previous experience of Faster Payments implementation projects
- Work with minimal support and is comfortable with ambiguity
- Exceptional communication skills & stakeholder management
- Critical thinking & problem-solving skills.
- Requirements elicitation and documentation techniques

Business Analyst (Faster Payments)
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires a Business Analyst with experience in Faster Payments implementation projects to be based at their client's office in Leeds, UK.
This is a hybrid role - you can work remotely in the UK and attend the Leeds office 2 days per week
This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start ASAP
Day rate: Competitive Market rate
Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst (SBA) to assist them in support of the 'Outbound Faster Payments' project. The role will look to work as part of the project & other dependent workstreams to effectively support the ongoing analysis deliverables within the project plan.
Key Responsibilities:
