Building Surveyor - Social Housing

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of residences to diagnose issues and make evidence-based recommendations.
• Carry out various surveys including planned and reactive maintenance repairs, voids, damp and mould, and condensation surveys.
• Create a schedule of work based on findings and engage with stakeholders such as contractors, developers, and local authorities.
• Log customer queries during visits and provide a point of referral.

Key Skills:

• Technical qualification such as HNC/RICS.
• Experience in a Social Housing or Local Authority Environment, preferably with residential properties.
• Knowledge of Repairs, Maintenance, Disrepair, Damp and Mould, and Voids.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a diverse range of customers.
