Bank Registered Nurse

Summary: The Bank Registered Nurse role at NBTeXtra offers experienced nurses the opportunity for flexible working patterns while supporting various clinical areas within a major NHS Trust. Nurses will be responsible for patient care, supervision of staff, and adherence to Trust policies. Key Responsibilities:

• Support all clinical areas of the Trust as required.
• Ensure compliance with Trust and local policies and procedures.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Supervise and guide other staff, including healthcare support workers and students.
• Report significant changes in patient conditions to the multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to health promotion and provide education and support to patients.
• Ensure safe medication ordering, administration, and custody.
• Assist in coordinating discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team.

Key Skills:

• Registered Nurse with current NMC Registration.
• Minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience (15 months for NQNs).
• Recent acute hospital experience within the last 18-24 months.
• Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer/IT skills.
• Ability to commit to a 4-day induction programme.
• Right to work in the UK.
