Bank Registered Nurse

Summary: The Bank Registered Nurse role at NBTeXtra offers experienced nurses the opportunity for flexible working patterns while supporting clinical areas within one of the South West's largest hospitals. Nurses will be responsible for patient care, adherence to Trust policies, and supervision of junior staff. Key Responsibilities:

• Support all clinical areas of the Trust as required.
• Ensure compliance with Trust and local policies and procedures.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Supervise and guide other staff, including healthcare support workers and students.
• Report significant changes in patient conditions to the multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to health promotion and provide education and support to patients.
• Ensure safe medication administration according to Trust policies.
• Assist in coordinating discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team.

Key Skills:

• Registered Nurse with current NMC Registration.
• Minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience (15 months for NQNs).
• Recent acute hospital experience within the last 18-24 months.
• Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer/IT skills.
• Ability to commit to a 4-day induction programme.
• Right to work in the UK.
