What We’re Looking For

We want to connect with Back-end Engineers who demonstrate expertise in a broad range of core skills and experience, including but not limited to:

  • A degree in a quantitative or engineering discipline (e.g., computer science, computational biology, bioinformatics, engineering) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong Python skills, with experience in back-end development and unit testing.
  • Familiarity with generative AI concepts, particularly Large Language Models.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred), including core web application infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of agile practices and ability to thrive in collaborative, iterative environments.
  • Proficiency with modern development tools and workflows (e.g., git/GitHub, DevOps practices), with a mindset of commit early and deploy often.
  • Understanding of web development best practices, modern design principles, and continuous integration workflows.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and building robust test suites.
