Summary: The role of Cloud Security Architect involves developing, designing, and implementing cloud security solutions for a Cyber Consulting client, focusing on Azure Cloud Services and network solutions. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure system scalability, reliability, and security while adhering to compliance standards. The architect will also be responsible for automation and DevOps practices, as well as fostering a troubleshooting environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and implement Azure Cloud Services including Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS, Functions, and Storage.
- Design and implement VNETs, Subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, SDWAN, and network solutions.
- Design and implement support for ARM Templates, Terraform, PowerShell, and CI/CD Pipelines.
- Optimize performance and cost through autoscaling, load balancing, and reserved instances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain resilient systems and optimize performance.
- Investigate and evaluate market and technology trends.
- Implement and enforce security policies and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Remediate vulnerabilities and build systems with security by design.
- Implement a Zero Trust Architecture and support Identity & Access Management Standards, Azure AD, and RBAC.
