Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive, robust, and reliable automated test frameworks and suites to cover business requirements.
- Identify and resolve defects or issues preventing the delivery of Test Engineering activities.
- Maintain full traceability of defects, tests, and requirements.
- Design, build, and maintain an effective test infrastructure.
- Create and maintain documentation within the test automation code base.
- Stay updated with the latest technical test tools and apply them where beneficial.
- Review and update the test suite to reflect current best practices and reduce technical debt.
- Develop and maintain reusable libraries and services.
- Communicate and share technical resources, knowledge, and lessons learned with other teams.
- Contribute to the production of test approaches and reporting mechanisms agreed upon with senior stakeholders.
- Ensure usability, accessibility, security, stability, and capacity are embedded in the development of citizen services.
- Collaborate with other teams in the Software Development Lifecycle to drive technical solutions.
- Apply Agile principles in practice and use Agile tools intelligently.
- Design and build technical setups and working methods for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment practices.
- Review test practices and implement improvements.
- Participate in community discussions around the latest technology trends, tools, and best practices within Test Engineering.
